Please join us for our quarterly government affairs update. NCJA Director of Government Affairs Elizabeth Pyke will discuss the latest news about the government shutdown, the FY26 appropriations cycle and Department of Justice granting agency actions. We will also discuss any new relevant information about special grant conditions. There will be ample opportunity for NCJA members to ask questions and to share amongst themselves issues of common interest and concern.

NCJA hosts government affairs updates throughout the year to highlight the status of legislation and appropriations issues and the policy conversations happening on the Hill, in the Administration and within the stakeholder community. There will also be an opportunity for NCJA members to ask questions and provide input. In addition, as appropriate, speakers from the Department of Justice, Congress or other federal agencies may be invited to discuss their priorities or new initiatives.
