The NCJA Advisory Council will meet in Washington, DC on October 5. We will also have a video option for those unable to attend in person. In addition to holding elections for President and Vice President, we will use the time together to discuss the new gun violence prevention funding included in the Safer Communities Act.

For those who are new to NCJA, the Advisory Council is composed of the state agency administrator (SAA) from each member state and 12 elected regional representatives. Council members meet at least yearly to conduct association business, network with each other and engage in discussions with their peers about issues, challenges and policy. The meeting on October 5 will allow for both in-person and virtual participation. The agenda will be available soon.
